Turnah Hails Bayelsa Deputy Governor Ewhrudjakpo at 60, Describes Him as a True Statesman

YENAGOA — The Acting Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State, Hon. Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, has congratulated the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, PhD, on his 60th birthday, describing him as a steadfast leader and true statesman.


In a goodwill message issued by Kelvin Loveday-Egbo his Media Assistant on Friday, Turnah, on behalf of his family, the party leadership, and members of the PDP in Bayelsa, joined friends and well-wishers to celebrate what he called “a remarkable milestone in the life of an exceptional leader.”


Hon. Turnah lauded the Deputy Governor’s loyalty and service, noting his resilience in championing the ideals of the PDP through both stable and challenging times.


“Sen. Ewhrudjakpo has consistently upheld the ideals of the PDP, even in very challenging circumstances, exemplifying loyalty, courage, and an unwavering commitment to the progress of the party and the people of Bayelsa State,” Turnah stated.


He emphasized that at 60, the Deputy Governor’s political journey and record of service continue to inspire confidence in the state’s future and the enduring strength of the PDP.


“At 60, His Excellency stands tall as a true statesman whose life and service continue to inspire confidence in the future of Bayelsa and the PDP, and we celebrate his strength, convictions, and enduring sacrifices for the Bayelsa project,” he added.


The PDP Acting Chairman also offered prayers for the celebrant, asking God to grant him more wisdom, good health, and long life to continue in selfless service.


“We pray for God’s continued blessings, wisdom, and long life for the Deputy Governor, urging him to remain resolute on the path of honour and excellence”


The Deputy Governor, who clocked 60 on Friday, is being celebrated across the state by political leaders, associates, and well-wishers for his contributions to governance, development, and party stability in Bayelsa.
