Turnah Celebrates SSDC's Chairman Chibudom Nwuche at Birthday, Hails Him as a Towering Statesman


Yenagoa, Nigeria – The Zonal Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), South-South, and Acting Chairman of the Bayelsa State Chapter, Hon. Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, has extended warm felicitations to Rt. Hon. (High Chief) Prince Chibudom Nwuche, OFR, the Esama 1 of Ekpeye Land, on the occasion of his birthday.


In a goodwill message made available by Kelvin Loveday-Egbo his Media Assistant, Turnah described the Chairman of the South-South Development Commission and former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives as “a towering statesman and illustrious son of the Niger Delta whose invaluable contributions to national development, democratic consolidation, and community empowerment remain a shining example of purposeful leadership.”


He noted that Prince Nwuche, a respected politician and accomplished technocrat, has over the years demonstrated rare commitment to the ideals of democracy, fairness, and equity, while using his influence and experience to advance the cause of the South-South and Nigeria as a whole.


According to Turnah, “Your life of service and legacy of excellence continue to inspire confidence across our region and the nation at large. You have remained an enduring voice for visionary leadership and a beacon of hope for the younger generation.”


The PDP South-South scribe further highlighted Nwuche’s remarkable role in promoting legislative reforms during his tenure as Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, as well as his contributions to strengthening institutions of democracy and fostering opportunities for youth and women.


Turnah also pointed to the celebrant’s current leadership as Chairman of the South-South Development Commission, which he said reflects his passion for driving inclusive development and regional advancement in a manner that aligns with the aspirations of the Niger Delta people.


While wishing him a happy and fulfilling birthday, Turnah prayed for God’s continued grace, wisdom, strength, and long life for Prince Nwuche, adding that his enduring influence in politics, governance, and community service remains a source of pride for the PDP, the South-South, and Nigeria.
