GGM DG Oyabara Hails NDDC MD/CEO, High Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, Describes Him as a Visionary Leader and Pillar of Regional Transformation

Yenagoa, Bayelsa State - The Director General of the Grassroots Galvanization Movement, GGM, Hon. Ebisele Azibalua Oyabara, has felicitated with the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, on the occasion of his 50th birthday anniversary.


In a statement personally signed by the DG and made available to newsmen in Yenagoa, Hon. Oyabara described Chief Dr. Ogbuku as a visionary administrator, a bridge-builder, and a symbol of purposeful leadership whose life and service continue to inspire hope, especially among the people of the Niger Delta.


According to the statement, the GGM helmsman extolled the sterling leadership qualities of the NDDC boss, noting that his milestone golden jubilee is not just a celebration of age, but of accomplishments, character, and unwavering commitment to regional development and human capital advancement.


He said, “Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbuku at 50 stands as a towering figure in the annals of Niger Delta’s developmental journey. His tenure at the NDDC has rekindled the collective faith of our people in the promise of inclusive growth, strategic intervention, and accountable governance.”


Hon. Oyabara further noted that under the watch of Dr. Ogbuku, the NDDC has embarked on several life-impacting projects, strengthened institutional partnerships, and prioritized youth empowerment and community-based development, which he said aligns with the core values of the Grassroots Galvanization Movement.


While congratulating the NDDC boss on attaining the landmark age of 50, the GGM Director General also prayed for God’s continued grace, wisdom, and strength for Chief Dr. Ogbuku, urging him not to relent in his service to the region and the nation at large.


He added that his organization will continue to support the ideals and developmental agenda of the Ogbuku-led NDDC and any initiatives spearheaded by High Chief Samuel Ogbuku, PhD.


“As you mark your 50th birthday, we join your family, friends, and admirers across the country in celebrating your life of excellence, sacrifice, and service. The entire GGM structure across the wards and communities of Bayelsa State stands solidly with you in solidarity and pride. May the next chapters of your life usher in greater exploits and divine favour,” the statement concluded.


The GGM Boss also added that his organization will continue to support the ideals of the Ogbuku-led NDDC and any other initiatives that would be spearheaded by High Chief Samuel Ogbuku, PhD, saying "what our nation needs particularly at times like this is what he called 'Ogbukutherapy'.
