TURNAH, FAMILY CELEBRATE NDDC BOSS, CHIEF DR. SAMUEL OGBUKU, AT 50


Yenagoa, Bayelsa - The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, is receiving torrents of goodwill messages today, Tuesday, 19th August 2025, as he marks his golden jubilee birthday, with friends, family, and political associates across the nation describing him as a man of vision, passion, and integrity.

Among those who paid glowing tributes was renowned lawyer and politician, Barrister Alabh George Turnah, MON, who, in a heartfelt message, lauded Dr. Ogbuku’s selfless contributions to the Niger Delta region and Nigeria at large.

Writing on behalf of his wife, Mrs. Jennifer Turnah, and their daughters, Eluantaziba, Eperetaziba, Etotaziba, and Etulantaziba, Turnah described the celebrant as an inspiration and a trailblazer.“

Your dedication, vision, and commitment to the development of the Niger Delta region inspire us all. You have positively impacted countless lives, including mine, and continue to lead with great passion and integrity,” Turnah declared.

The PDP chieftain and Zonal Secretary, South South, further noted that the NDDC boss has redefined leadership with his pragmatic approach to governance and inclusivity in service delivery.

“On this remarkable milestone of 50 years, my family proudly joins your numerous friends, associates, and well-wishers around the globe in honouring this extraordinary individual. Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, a respected leader and administrator, has played pivotal roles in advancing the NDDC’s mandate of sustainable development in the Niger Delta. His leadership has been widely commended for rekindling hope and confidence in the Commission’s ability to deliver critical infrastructure, empower communities, and foster peace in the region.
