Bayelsa PDP Celebrates Hon. Dr. Pabara Newton Igwele on Birthday Anniversary


Yenagoa, Bayelsa - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State has felicitated with one of its dedicated leaders and former Commissioner for Health, Hon. Dr. Pabara Newton Igwele, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.


In a statement issued on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, and signed by the Acting State Publicity Secretary, Mr. Alasuote Wright, the party under the leadership of its Acting Chairman, High Chief Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, described Dr. Igwele as a committed party stalwart who has contributed immensely to governance and public service in the state.


The statement recalled Dr. Igwele’s tenure as Commissioner for Health, noting that he distinguished himself with “remarkable dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the wellbeing of our people.” It further stressed that his contributions to strengthening the state’s health sector remain evident and continue to reflect his passion for service.


“On this special day, the PDP family in Bayelsa celebrates him and prays for renewed strength, good health, and greater accomplishments in his journey ahead. Happy Birthday, Hon. Dr. Igwele,” the statement added.
