SOUTH SOUTH PDP CONGRATULATES HIS EXCELLENCY, CHIEF BARR. NYESOM WIKE ON HONORARY DOCTORATE AWARD


The South South Zonal Leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) heartily congratulates His Excellency, Chief Barr. Dr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, GSSRS, Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and former Governor of Rivers State, on the conferment of a Doctorate Degree by the University of Port Harcourt.


A statement signed by Chief Dan Osi Orbih, PDP National Vice Chairman (South South), notes that, "this distinguished honour is a well-earned recognition of your sterling contributions to the advancement of governance, infrastructural development, and public service in Nigeria. Chief Orbih further states that "the PDP in the South South is proud of your achievements, your relentless pursuit of progress, and your uncompromising loyalty to the ideals of good governance and democratic leadership. You remain a tower of hope and a shining example of what purposeful leadership can achieve.

The workshop, which focused largely on drug abuse and its associated dangers, was part of ongoing efforts to align troops' activities with the vision of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede The one day sensitization workshop was held under the supervision of the Chief of Civil-Military Affairs, Nigerian Army, Major General Gold Chibuisi.
