Turnah Urges Continued Prayers for Nigeria and Its Leaders



The Acting Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State and South South Zonal Secretary of the party, Hon. Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, has called on Christians across the nation to remain steadfast in praying for Nigeria and its leaders at all levels.


According to Kelvin Loveday-Egbo, Media Assistant to the Acting Chairman, People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Bayelsa State, Turnah made the appeal during the maiden harvest thanksgiving service of the Salvation City Royal Church, held in Elebele Town, Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State on Sunday 29 June, 2025.


In his goodwill message, Turnah, who was represented by the State Acting Treasurer of the People’s Democratic Party, Biobelemoye Igoniwari emphasized the need for wisdom and compassionate leadership, noting that no leader can succeed without God’s help.


He encouraged Nigerians to support governments constructively and continue to uphold the nation in prayer, stressing that God remains the ultimate ruler over the affairs of men.


He further stated that serving God and contributing to the advancement of His work is one of the greatest responsibilities of every believer, and commended the leadership and members of the Salvation City Royal Church for their dedication.


The event witnessed a spirit-filled atmosphere of worship, gratitude, and communal celebration, drawing attendees from within and beyond the local government area.
