BREAKING!!! AKWA IBOM GOVERNOR UMO ENO ABOUT TO OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCE HIS DEFECTION FROM PDP TO APC


For several weeks the date June 6 was flying around Akwa Ibom state as the magic date for the official defection of Governor Umo Eno from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

At last, the date has come and last night there were movements of political heavyweights into the state and when the Governor ‘s official itinerary was released to include an official press briefing by him, what was an open secret , was confirmed.


Governors Hope Uzodinma, who is the chairman of the Progressives Governor Forum, and Governor Bassey Otu of neighboring Cross River State are already on ground with some other APC big wigs. The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio is expected to arrive soon.


The Banquet Hall of Government House, Uyo is already filled with major stakeholders, who were specially invited, as they await the arrival of Governor Eno and others.

The workshop, which focused largely on drug abuse and its associated dangers, was part of ongoing efforts to align troops' activities with the vision of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede The one day sensitization workshop was held under the supervision of the Chief of Civil-Military Affairs, Nigerian Army, Major General Gold Chibuisi.
