Bayelsa PDP Celebrates National Secretary, Sen. Samuel Anyanwu, at 60

Yenagoa — The Bayelsa State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has joined leaders and members of the party across Nigeria to celebrate the National Secretary of the PDP, Distinguished Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu, on the occasion of his 60th birthday anniversary.


In a goodwill message issued in Yenagoa, the Acting Chairman of the PDP in Bayelsa State and South South Zonal Secretary, Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, extolled Senator Anyanwu for what he described as “a life of exceptional service, sacrificial leadership, and unbroken commitment to the ideals of democracy and nation-building.”


Barr. Turnah, in the message signed by his Media Assistant, Kelvin Loveday-Egbo, hailed the PDP National Secretary for his stabilizing role in the party and his unwavering pursuit of internal cohesion and democratic principles at a time the nation and party need it most.


“Senator Anyanwu’s political journey is marked by a consistent dedication to the advancement of justice, equity, and good governance,” Turnah said.

“Through his calm wisdom, deep experience, and patriotic passion, he has become a symbol of institutional stability and party cohesion within our great platform.”


He further noted that as National Secretary, Senator Anyanwu has continued to embody “the very essence of responsible leadership; anchored on discipline, inclusivity, vision, and unity of purpose.”


The statement described the celebrant as a leader whose contributions have “helped sustain the credibility and democratic strength of the PDP.”


“As you celebrate this milestone, we salute your inspiring leadership, your courage in the face of challenges, and your continued commitment to strengthening our party structures across the country. We pray that the Almighty God continues to endow you with sound health, peace, and greater grace as you enter this new chapter of impact and fulfillment,” Turnah added.


The Bayelsa PDP family, according to the statement, joins well-wishers, political associates, and loved ones across Nigeria in honoring the contributions and legacy of Senator Anyanwu on his diamond jubilee.


Senator Anyanwu, popularly known as "SamDaddy," is a former senator representing Imo East Senatorial District and a respected figure in Nigeria’s democratic landscape.
