Turnah Lauds HRH Sunny-Goli's Record of Service as Monarch marks Birthday


Yenagoa,­­ May 17 — The Acting Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State, Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, has extended warm felicitations to His Royal Highness Israel Sunny-Goli (Kemmer V), Amadabo of Kemmer-Ama, Twon Brass Kingdom, on the occasion of the monarch’s birthday.


In a statement issued in Yenagoa, Barr. Turnah described the celebrant as "a remarkable symbol of service, humility, and visionary leadership whose influence spans cultural, political, and generational lines."


Whether as Amadabo of Kemmer-Ama or during his tenure in the House of Representatives for Nembe-Brass Federal Constituency, the Bayelsa PDP helmsman noted that His Royal Highness has demonstrated an unflagging commitment to the peace, unity, and development of Bayelsa State.


Barr. Turnah, who has brought a facelift to the PDP in Bayelsa State commended Sunny-Goli’s bridge-building role among the diverse communities of the Brass Island axis, citing ongoing grassroots initiatives in education, healthcare, and youth empowerment championed under the monarch’s watch.


Turnah, who has remained resolute in his efforts to take Bayelsa to the centre of Nigeria's political space, prayed for renewed strength, wisdom, and divine favour upon the former lawmaker, assuring the traditional ruler of the party’s partnership in programmes that enhance local development.


He urged citizens to emulate the monarch’s "inclusive style of leadership and steadfast devotion to community advancement," emphasizing that such values are crucial to sustaining peace and prosperity across the Niger Delta.
