Turnah Congratulates Winners of “Most Beautiful Girl in Kolo 2025” Contest, Unveils Cash Prizes for All Contestants
Yenagoa - Acting Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State, Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, has applauded the winners and participants of the maiden “Most Beautiful Girl in Kolo 2025” contest, describing the event as “a new dawn for Kolo (Agholo) Kingdom.”
The contest, sponsored by Barr. Turnah, produced:
Her Majesty, Queen-Elect Pereniyari Ranz Jackson — Winner and Crown Queen
Queen Sarah Goodnews — First Runner-Up
Queen Epere Joy Isaiah — Second Runner-Up
In a statement signed by Mr. Kelvin Loveday-Egbo, his Media Assistant, the Bayelsa State Acting PDP Chairman said, “I applaud your outstanding poise, intellect and cultural elegance. Your emergence signals a new dawn for Kolo (Agholo) Kingdom.”
Calling on the new royals to “embrace a peaceful, impactful and successful reign,” he urged them to craft “implementable frameworks and measurable goals that advance education, health, culture and youth empowerment across Kolo.” He assured them of his readiness to “support and collaborate… in every worthy initiative for the good, development and progress of our people.”
Turnah also praised the other contestants, noting that their “courage, talent and dedication enriched the programme and embodied the true spirit of Kolo womanhood.” He encouraged them to rally around the queen and her deputies to help actualise their plans.
Reaffirming his commitment to nurturing local talent, Barr. Turnah unveiled the following prizes:
₦500,000 for the Crown Queen, plus a ₦50,000 monthly maintenance allowance throughout her one-year reign
₦250,000 for the First Runner-Up
₦150,000 for the Second Runner-Up
₦50,000 consolation prize for every other contestant
“These awards,” he said, “reflect my unwavering commitment to nurturing the dreams and potentials of the daughters of Kolo.”
Turnah concluded by urging the winners to uphold the kingdom’s “social, ethical and moral values at all times,” promising that together they will “illuminate Kolo Kingdom with excellence and pride.”
