TURNAH CELEBRATES PDP SOUTH SOUTH EX-OFFICIO, COMRADE THOMPSON KURO, AT 40; DESCRIBES HIM AS A DEPENDABLE PILLAR OF THE PARTY


Yenagoa, Nigeria — The Acting Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State and South South Zonal Secretary of the party, Hon. Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, has extended heartfelt felicitations to Comrade Thompson Kuro, a prominent South South PDP Ex-Officio, on the occasion of his 40th birthday anniversary.


In a message made available to journalists on Wednesday, Barr. Turnah described Comrade Kuro as “a steadfast party loyalist, grassroots mobilizer, and progressive voice of the South South,” whose unwavering commitment to the ideals of the PDP continues to inspire confidence in the party’s mission across the region.


“Your unwavering commitment to the ideals of our great party and your consistency in championing the cause of the common man have earned you a well-deserved place of honour in the political landscape of our region,” Turnah stated.


He further noted that as an Ex-Officio of the PDP South South Zone, Comrade Kuro has “distinguished himself with courage, clarity of purpose, and a passion for unity and development,” qualities he said have strengthened the party’s base and advanced its grassroots appeal.


Turnah emphasized that Comrade Kuro remains a “dependable pillar in our collective journey towards sustaining the PDP as the dominant political platform across the Niger Delta,” citing his organizational strength, people-oriented engagement, and strong grassroots connection as key attributes of his leadership.


“As you mark this new chapter of life, may you be blessed with renewed strength, divine wisdom, and greater opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the party, the region, and our nation at large,” he concluded.


The message, signed by Kelvin Loveday-Egbo, Media Assistant to the Acting Chairman, celebrated Comrade Kuro’s legacy of service, describing him as a source of inspiration to many within and beyond the PDP fold.
